1. Regional Efficiency and Improvement Partnerships: in supporting their authorities and helping them create the conditions where different LEAs relate to each other;
  2. Regional Development Agencies: to help develop relationships and structures to ensure that LEAs can talk to the Integrated Regional Strategy;
  3. Regional Leaders Fora: in developing a coherent regional voice for their authorities; and,
  4. Government Offices: provide training and support for staff to bridge knowledge and experience gaps in bringing the LAAs and regeneration together.

  1. Design and deliver their LEA and help them use this to support a single evidence base for decision making;
  2. Work with partners and neighbours on taking forward the LEA and rolling it into the Local Area Agreement and sub-regional strategy; and,
  3. Train and develop internal staff to reduce the need to commission work externally.
