The route to sustained employment can be very difficult for parents. Although access to affordable childcare is critical, parents often face other challenges moving from benefits to work.

This latest event is a must attend for anyone involved in supporting parents into or once they have got work. Showcasing best practice and experience from providers and support agencies in West London;

  • Discuss the emerging policy for supporting parents and implications for your programmes
  • Hear from West London programmes on their experience and lessons for the future
  • Find out about resources available to providers and the role of services such as Family Information Services and money advice in supporting the delivery of your contracts
  • Build relationships with other providers and find out how you can work together to support parents on your programmes

Tell us how we are doing!

During May we are conducting an evaluation of the West London Working Provider Confederation and we want to get your views and experiences.

The WLW Provider Confederation was established last year to help build the capacity and capability of employment and skills providers in West London. The key aim of the Confederation is to help smaller and third sector providers build relationships with each other and larger Prime Contractors, to take advantage of new employment and skills commissioning and contract opportunities. We have been doing this through networking events, specialist training sessions as well as regular communications like this e-bulletin.

We want to find out your views on the Confederation such as:

  • How useful are these bulletins?
  • If you have attended an event in the past – how did you rate it?
  • What events and subject areas do you want covered in the future?

We have set up a short online questionnaire for you to complete which will take a couple of minutes. Click here to take part and we will let you know the outcome in a future e-bulletin.
