Researcher with New Local Government Network, with a focus on economic development, regional governance, MAAs and the Sub National Review. Dabbled in PCTs, welfare and worklessness and the impacts of immigration at the local level. Previously a European Social Fund Contract Manager at the Learning and Skills Council and research intern at the Institute for Social and Ethical Accountability.
Towering strengths
Good presentation skills and facilitator. Wide knowledge of current economic development policy and even knows what an MAA is. Doesn’t get bored by talk of local government governance and structures.
Little weaknesses
Food, food, food and coffee. Buying food, eating food, cooking food, throwing food. A hideously partisan Arsenal fan. Parks on sunny days. All sports – mostly from the safety of the arm chair. Growing his record collection.
